This project is currently on hold due to progress on the Sixth Grade Read-A-Thon.SHORT TERM GOALS:
• Holding a weekly Tuesday meeting for our group to discuss what is the weeks agenda.-Fundraise money so we can achieve more funding for this project and others. • Create a criteria that will allow the person who visits the Li Ming school to understand what how our groups want the library to be used.
• Create a Chinese survey that will provide our group with information of what books the children are most interested in.Do we have a person who can write Chinese for the survey?
LONG TERM GOALS:
• Expanding the library through beginning to find what truly interests the students.
• Evaluating how the books and library is being used and whether or not it is being used properly, in the best way that will benefit the children.
• Bring more fundraising attention through connecting ourselves with the SAS community.
• Publicly promote our relationship with liming group in order to spread our name with a already well known group.
• Being able to provide the books desired by the children for the library.
• Look at other possible schools that may be willing to cooperate with our organization in the future, once we feel that our job at Li Ming is completed.
